 Adityanath Yogi was born on 5 June 1972 as Ajay Singh Bisht into a Garhwali Rajput family. Ajay Singh pursued Bachelor’s in Mathematics from the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in Uttarakhand.

Although, Yogi Adityanath is the new CM of Uttar Pradesh but he has several criminal cases. Sever criminal charges like trespassing on burial places, rioting, armed with deadly weapon, rioting, attempt to murder, endangering life or personal safety of others, unlawful assembly, and criminal intimidation are imposed on him.

In 2005, Adityanath led a ‘purification’ drive for conversion of Christians to Hinduism.

In 2015, Yogi Adityanath said in front of the media that those who go against yoga can leave India and they should be drowned.
