Google has officially named Android next version as Android Oreo. Google launched this version in a very a unique way as it was launched exactly when the First Complete Solar Eclipse crossed America in 99 Years. On Monday, Google introduced “Android Oreo Is The Google’s Next Version” though a “live stream” and a short video. The new Android version is reaching the ones who were using beta version of Android O and Pixel & Pixel users who were using the Android Nougat. Google mentioned that the users of Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Google Pixel, Nexus Player, Google Pixel C and the Google Pixel XL will soon enjoy Android O in their device. “We’re pushing the sources to Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for everyone to access today. Pixel and Nexus 5X/6P builds have entered carrier testing, and we expect to start rolling out in phases soon, alongside Pixel C and Nexus Player,” says Google.

The company claims that it will be 2X faster than the previous Android. Tasks will work faster and boot speed will also be faster.

Android Oreo will reduce the background activity of apps that you use less. You cannot see its working, but this will increase the speed too.

Autofill feature will be used for logging in any account with the permission of the user. You can use this feature to quickly log into your favorite app.
Picture-in-Picture
Because of this feature in Android Oreo, you can see two apps at a time. For example, you can use any other app while making a video call. You will also see the one with ehom you are talking in the corner of the screen.

By pressing the notification dots, you can see what’s new and you just have to swipe to clear it.

In this case, mobile memory will also be left unconsumed. However, this feature is supported in select applications only.

With Android O, Google Play Protector will also be provided to the users. Google has claimed that every day Google Play Protect has the efficiency to scans 50 billion apps. The purpose of using this protector is to make Android smartphones safer, since most malware comes from installing the wrong app. “Android Oreo is more secure with Google Play Protect built in, security status front and center in settings, and tighter app installs controls,” notes Google.

The company has claimed that by using this version, users can increase the battery life of their smartphone. Android O helps in minimize overuse of battery from apps in the background.

With this latest version of Android, many new emoji will be available. Google added 60 new emoji to Android Oreo. Apart from this, the old emoji has also been designed in a new way.
Android TV feature
New Android version also supports Android TV feature. With this feature users will be able to watch movies while using other apps. In other words, while watching the video you can also use another app and your video will not be closed. This feature will prove to be better for multi-tasking.
