On Tuesday, the Adityanath government decided to give relief to the small farmers and marginal farmers of UP by waving Rs.30729 crore loan. CM Yogi Adityanath Fulfils Poll Promise which was made in its election manifesto. This decision of waving big amount of loan took place at the first cabinet meeting of the Yogi government. As per the investigation, this will benefit nearly 2 crore 15 lakh farmers of Uttar Pradesh.

After the cabinet meeting, the government disclosed that Rs 30,729 crore loan has been waived. The government also announced that UP farmers will get Rs 10 more than the minimum support price per quintal.
