There is no official statement on the price cuts issued by Panasonic but it is believed that offline retailers have been updated of the modified pricing by the company. Where most of the handsets become at least 4-5 per cent expensive when compared to the pre-GST days, few smartphone companies like Asus, Panasonic iPads, iMac, MacBook etc may gets a price cut by almost 7.5 per cent. Here’s the price reduction of the select Panasonic smartphones after GST came into consideration. Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL), which was launched in August, last year at Rs. 27,999/-, was available at Rs. 19,999/- for a limited period of time. But now it has been priced at Rs 16,999/-. Asus ZenFone 3 has 5.5 inch display, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and 3000mAh battery.
#4 Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL)
Apart from this, Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) which was launched in India for Rs. 17,999/-, earlier it was reduced to Rs 15,999, but now its price has been reduced to Rs 14,999/-. It houses a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and 3GB RAM. Its rear has a 16 megapixel camera with dual LED flash. On the front there is an 8-megapixel camera with 84 degree wide angle.
#5 Asus ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL)
Coming to the next, Asus ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL), which was launched at Rs. 14,999/- and now its price has been reduced to Rs. 12,999/-. At the same time Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL), which was priced at Rs. 12,999/- in India, is now available for Rs. 10,999/-

Panasonic Eluga A2 will be now priced at a Rs. 8,990/-, which is 500 Rs. lower than its pre-GST price of Rs. 9,490. The phone is powered by a 1GHz quad-core SoC and contains 3GB of RAM. It coms with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash on its rear edge and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

Panasonic Eluga Prim, which was available at Rs. 10,290/- is now costs Rs. 9,490/-. Panasonic Eluga Prim sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The phone houses a 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of inbuilt storage.

#8 Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega
Next up is the Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega that has got reduction in price. Originally priced at Rs. 10,990/-, the Eluga I3 Mega is now reduced by Rs. 1,000 and will be available at Rs. 9,990/-. The phone features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and works on 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor. It has 3GB of RAM; 13-megapixel camera is placed on its rear edge, and a 5-megapixel camera on its front edge.

The price of Panasonic Eluga Pulse X has now decreased to Rs. 10,490/-. The phone was launched at a price of Rs. 10,990/- in the month of March 2017.
