HMD Global has made an announcement that will surely excite Old Nokia Lovers. As per the latest news, on Tuesday, HMD Global (which has the exclusive rights on Nokia Brand name) came up with an announcement regarding Nokia 150 Launch in India. The Nokia 150 & Nokia 150 Dual SIM will access Africa, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe market in the first quarter of 2017. Both the phones are featured with same specifications of 4-inch QVGA display, mp3 player and build-in FM radio.
150 Phone announced, without any doubt, is a green sign for Old Nokia Lovers!! After the announcement made by Nokia to licensed HMD so that it can produce Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablets. HMD has made an agreement with Microsoft and Nokia about the use of brand name and also got the right to make some changes in designs. This agreement, made between HMD and Nokia, will be valid for a time period of 10 years. So it can use the assigned authorities till these successive years. HMD is now planning to market the Nokia brand for the next three years by spending an enormous amount of 400 million euros approx.
The agreement made between Microsoft and Nokia covers some conditions & it can only use the Nokia Brand name in basic phones. Microsoft will use Windows platforms in producing its high-end Lumia smartphones.
