RBI Soon To Issue New Rs 50 Note

The central bank had said in December last year that it will soon release Rs 50 and Rs 20 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series. On Friday evening, the Reserve Bank of India has displayed the first photograph of a new note of Rs. 50. This represents that RBI is soon going to issue new Rs 50 Note. The color of the note is fluorescent blue. On the back of the new Rs 50 note, there will also be a figure of Hampi with the chariot, which will showcase the country’s cultural heritage.

The note will be signed by RBI Governor Urjit Patel. The Rs 50 banknote has geometric patterns line up with the complete colour scheme. The dimension of the new 50 Rs banknote will be 66 mm x 135 mm. RBI simplified that in the earlier series all the Rs 50 notes will remain a legal tender. Here’s How it Looks!!!
