According to Railway ministry spokesperson Anil Saxena, “The accident occurred at around 6:25 AM and we have already cleared out the site,” He added, “All passengers were put on the remaining coaches and by 7:28 AM all of them had left the spot. All of them are safe and no one was injured in the accident.”
As the train was running at a speed of 40 km/hr, no one got injured when this incident took place. We can only imagine how much damage this disastrous situation could have made if the speed was fast. Once again people are frightened to travel via train as this is the third time such derailment in Uttar Pradesh occurred in less than a month.
